Microsoft Adopts CommVault QiNetix Data Management Software for Use in Demonstration and Test Centers
The Microsoft Technology Centers(R) and Microsoft Partner Solution Center use CommVault to help customers and partners develop, test and validate the deployment of their solutions
OCEANPORT, N.J., Oct 11, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- CommVault(R) (Nasdaq: CVLT), a provider of Unified Data Management(TM) solutions, today announced that its data management software has been selected by Microsoft Corporation for use in its Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) and its Microsoft Partner Solution Center. Microsoft's decision to utilize CommVault software in its customer-facing centers means that a wide audience of customers and potential customers will have the opportunity to test and validate Microsoft and CommVault solutions prior to deployment.
CommVault QiNetix software, including Galaxy Backup and Recovery for data protection, QuickRecovery VSS snapshot management for recovery management, and DataMigrator and DataArchiver for archive management, will be showcased and demonstrated in the MTCs and the Partner Solution Center. The MTC facilities are located in Austin, Texas, Atlanta, Ga, Dallas, Texas, Waltham, Mass, Chicago, Ill, Mountain View, Cailf, Reston, Va and soon-to-be opened facilities in Irvine, Calif and New York City, NY, while the Partner Solution Center is located in Redmond, Wash. The facilities include executive briefing centers, a world-class envisioning center, development suites and a leading edge data center.
