CommVault and Sun Align to Deliver Enterprise Class Data Management Solutions
OCEANPORT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29, 2008--CommVault (NASDAQ:CVLT) today announced that it has entered into a collaborative agreement with Sun Microsystems Inc., to provide customers with advanced data management solutions for enterprise computing environments. Under the agreement, Sun will distribute globally the CommVault(R) Simpana(TM) 7.0 data and information management software suite running on Sun Microsystems x64 server and storage systems. Together, the two companies will assist customers in optimizing their corporate infrastructures for 64-bit applications based on Microsoft Corp. messaging and collaboration platforms.
