News Facts
- CommVault invites Simpana® software end users to enter its "Tales of Achieving Oneness" contest.
- The contest, which kicks off today, encourages users to share stories about how Simpana software is helping modernize data management practices to deliver a state of "oneness" that is free from the usual datacenter chaos.
- In a 3- to 5-minute video or written 300- to 500-word story, entries should explain how Simpana software has helped users overcome a particular data and information management challenge or made it possible to reduce cost and complexity in their data center.
- The contest is designed to showcase how organizations have replaced inefficient point solutions in favor of the Simpana single platform approach, with integrated backup, archiving, snapshot and search capabilities, for improved economic and operational efficiencies as well as reduced risks.
- CommVault will review submissions and select 10 finalists which will be posted on its Facebook page. The 10 finalist submissions will be judged by the public through an open voting process to ultimately determine one winner.
- The story with the most votes will win an Apple iPad 2 valued at $499.
- The deadline to submit a story is midnight Eastern Time on Dec. 14, 2011. Finalists will be selected on Dec. 19, 2011. The voting period will take place from Dec. 19, 2011 to Dec. 30, 2011. The winner will be announced on Jan. 4, 2012.
